Local businesses, graduating seniors or those moving on to a college or university may apply for our Community Enrichment Grants and Schloarships.

Community Enrichment Grants

The Officers' Wives' Club of Camp Pendleton is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization composed of spouses of active duty and retired officers stationed at or living near Camp Pendleton. OWC raises charitable funds through various fundraising events throughout the year. Grants are made in May of each year from the pool of these charitable funds to support organizations that directly benefit the military community.

The size of OWC grants ranges from $250 to $1,500. Organizations should apply for funding for their most critical needs, whether support is being requested for continuing existing and exceptional programs, or undertaking new or expanded programs.

OWC is awarding $15,000 in Community Enrichment Grants this year! These funds were raised by the Margaritaville Auction and other fundraising efforts.

The following organizations are eligible to apply:
• local organizations that directly benefit the military community
• public schools and selected government programs
• charitable organizations that support the military community
• organizations must demonstrate a non-discrimination policy regarding staff, employment,
   governing board, and service delivery on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or national origin.

3. Attach any additional information you have regarding your request such as pamphlets or pricing guides so the committee can better assess each application.
4. Applications for Community Enrichment Grants are due or postmarked by 28 Feb 2012.

2012 Scholarship Application

2012 – 2013 Scholarship Qualifications

The Officers’ Wives’ Club (OWC) of Camp Pendleton is pleased to announce its scholarship program for 2012.  Scholarships will cover the academic year 2012-2013.  The number and amount of scholarships awarded is based on funds allocated by the OWC Board through income generated during the OWC year (June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012).
Individuals whose sponsors are active duty members of the United States Marine Corps, Navy, (or any of the sister services) currently stationed Camp Pendleton may submit an application.  The sponsor may be officer or enlisted.  If the applicant’s sponsor is a retiree, the retiree must have been honorably retired from the United States Navy or the United States Marine Corps by the time the scholarship application is submitted.  Individuals whose United States Navy or United States Marine Corps sponsor is deceased may also apply.  For all applicants, both the sponsor (active duty or retired) and applicant (active duty, retired, or deceased) must live within a 50-mile radius of Camp Pendleton.
