About Us

The Officers’ Wives’ Club of Camp Pendleton was chartered on January
8, 1952. Since our inception, our mission has been to foster friendship
and promote goodwill among OWC members and to
support social, educational, and community projects in and around the
Camp Pendleton community.

Our Creed is service to self, service to each other, service to the
community, and service to the
future.

In 2006 the OWC achieved official status as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit
organization, exempt from federal
income tax, under Tax ID # 51-0187547.

In 2008 the OWC awarded $60,000 for educational scholarships and
community enrichment grants. In
additional to scholarships for graduating seniors and military spouses
community enrichment grants are awarded to organizations that
support the Camp Pendleton military community.

In the past, organizations such as public schools, the Navy-Marine Corps
Relief Society, Brother
Benno’s, the Armed Services YMCA, libraries, and women’s shelters
have received community
enrichment grants.

We look forward to continuing our long tradition of service to the
community. For more information
on ways in which you can help us to further our efforts, please contact
our 2nd Vice President for Fundraising.
